PROPOSED HMDA CHANGES

CFPB RELEASES MODIFIED LARS

On March 29, the CFPB announced that the HMDA Modified Loan Application Register (LAR) data have been published for approximately 5,400 financial institutions. This is the first year in which additional data reported by certain institutions under the 2015 HMDA rule are available. HMDA FINAL RULE FOR EGRRCPA EXEMPTION

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) has released an updated and expanded version of the publication A Guide to HMDA Reporting – Getting it Right (aka the HMDA bible). The publication had not been updated since 2013.
